East Rutherford, NJ — A summer season finale complete with fireworks is just one of the events new operator Jeff Gural has added to Meadowlands Racetrack’s promotional schedule.

Big M Club members are invited to try and “Beat The Boss” in a handicapping challenge on Friday, July 22. Club members who can out handicap Jeff Gural will be entered into a drawing the following day for a $1,000 betting voucher. Pick sheets will be available Friday morning, July 22, in the Guest Service office on the Paddock Level. One entry per person. Fan Appreciation Night, Friday, August 12, will feature dollar concession specials, free admission, free programs and a t-shirt toss. Join host Gary DiLeo for a special edition of Winners at the Wedge and enter to win a betting voucher, winner’s circle trophy presentation or a ride in the starting car. Plus, get the scoop on the $50,000 guaranteed Pick-4 from a leading Meadowlands driver or trainer.

The Saturday, August 20, summer finale will include round one of the Tioga/Meadowlands Driver’s Championship, a driver autograph session, mystery mutuel voucher promotion, family activities in Paddock Park and a free fireworks show after the races. Plus, an all-you-can-eat barbecue buffet and pig roast will be available in Paddock Park for $35.25 per person.

Additional summer events include a Summer Beer Festival on Saturday, July 23, Farmers’ Market and Wine Tasting on Saturday, July 30, Hambletonian Day, Saturday, August 6, and a Doo Wop Concert and Classic Car Show on Saturday, August 13.
