Pompano Beach, FL — With Pocohontas Fame still eligible for the $100,000 bonus offered by the Florida Standardbred Breeders And Owners Association, two eliminations have been set for Wednesday evening, November 25, at The Isle Pompano Park for the Breeders Stakes.

It’s the last of the four major Fall stakes staged by the FSBOA. The eliminations became necessary due to the 11 entries for the Breeders Stakes 2-year-old filly trot division. All championship finals will be staged on the 2009 Florida Super Night program of December 5.

The eliminations for the rookie filly trotters will be staged at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, prior to the regular ten race card at 7:05 p.m.

Pocohontas Fame and pacing filly Black Diamond Girl are the last two rookie performers still eligible for the FSBOA bonus offered to any rookie performer able to sweep the four major State bred stakes each Fall. The daughter of Famously-Native Pine, campaigning for Amante Standardbreds, has drawn into by far the toughest of the eliminations against recent winners Your Not My Friend and Pretty Girl.
