Foiled Again tops opening poll

Freehold, NJ — Graduate winner Foiled Again was a winner again today as he claimed the No. 1 spot in the year’s first Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll.
Arch Madness, fresh off his victory overseas in the Oslo Grand Prix, was second. He trailed Foiled Again by four first-place votes. Also getting first-place votes were Levy Memorial winner Real Nice and Cutler Memorial winner Slave Dream.
The only 3-year-old to crack the rankings was trotter Ice Machine, who is undefeated in four races this season, with victories in the Dexter Cup and Simpson Stakes.
