EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – March 30, 2005 – Follow Your Bliss [$7.20, $4.20, $3.00] scored a dominant five-length victory to complete a series sweep in the $60,000 Jersey Girls Final, the third race on Wednesday night at the Meadowlands.

The four-year-old daughter of Blissfull Hall paced the mile in a lifetime best of 1:52 with Jim Morrill Jr. in the sulky.

Artoonist [$14.60, $8.20] was second, and it was seven and a half lengths to Theresa Hall [$4.00] in third.

“I waited on the backstretch to get the lead; I didn’t want to get away fourth,” said Morrill. “I waited until everyone settled down and took the top. This is the best she has been so far. She’s a very consistent mare, a pretty serious horse. I think that puts her over $90,000 on the year.”

The Mark Silva-trainee now has a three-race winning streak. She has five wins and four seconds from nine starts this year for earnings of $91,000 toward a career total of $141,613 for the Alberta ownership of Serge Masse and Joseph Lin.

Morrill returned to the winner’s circle in the sixth race with Arts Regard for the 40-year-old driver’s 3,000th career victory.
