East Rutherford, NJ — Former President of the United States Bill Clinton went on the record with his pick in the final leg of the Triple Crown when he visited the Meadowlands Racetrack on Friday, June 1.

Clinton, a friend of track operator Jeff Gural, was the special guest at a dinner held to support the re-election of United States Senator for New Jersey Robert Menendez at the Meadowlands’ Pegasus Restaurant. He shared his fondness for racing and assessed the field for the upcoming Belmont Stakes in a surprise interview with announcer Sam McKee that was facilitated by track operator Jeff Gural.
