Formula One scored in 1:53.2 in his seasonal debut.

This was a new record for Formula One, who is sired by Yankee Glide and out of Ferrari Of. He was bred and raised by Kenneth A. Jackson and was sold for $165,000 as a yearling at the Lexington Selected Sale.

Formula One was exported to Europe and until this year he was trained and campaigned by world renowned Stig H. Johansson, but after his second trainer, Reijo Liljendahl, opted to open his own stable, Formula One followed him.

With the very impressive performance on Wednesday night, Formula One could be handed an invitation for the Elitlopp.

Fomula One has raced just 27 times, but has 19 wins.

On a sad note, the 7-year-old gelding Southern Rocketop, a former world champion who some years ago was sold to Norway, went down in the same race yesterday and died.
