Fountain Pen scored her sixth straight win to remain undefeated since coming to Northfield Park.

The 3-year-old filly is owned by Winbak Farm and trained by Don Pfister. Kurt Sugg had the winning drive.

Fountain Pen started from post four and made every pole a winning one through fractional times of :28.1, :57.3, 1:26.2 and 1:55. She never experienced an anxious moment in the mile and was two lengths ahead of her competition at the wire.

Tuesday’s triumph was the seventh career success for Fountain Pen (Veeza-Puccini Blue Chip) and increased her lifetime earnings to $29,566. She was the overwhelming favorite and returned $2.80 to win.

Fountain Pen moved to Northfield in early August with only one win in 12 starts. However, she has excelled under Pfister’s tutelage and remains undefeated over the Flying Turns.
