Four win USTA Lexington Selected Sale Yearling Contest

by Nicole Kraft, communications director, USTA

Columbus, OH — Four people successfully guessed that Ultimo Dolce would be the highest-priced yearling at the Lexington Selected Sale, and are winners of the USTA Lexington Selected Sale Yearling Contest.

Philip Antonacci, Richard Scott, Daryl Koop, and Tom Linkmeyer all accurately predicted that the son of Glidemaster-Pizza Dolce would lead the sale, as he fetched $270,000. All will receive a USTA prize pack, including a Hoof Beats T-shirt, USTA mug and copy of the Trotting & Pacing Guide. Congratulations!

The USTA will hold a similar contest for the upcoming Standardbred Horse Sale Company yearling sale in Harrisburg. For the Harrisburg contest, winners will be selected for the highest-priced trotting yearling and the highest-priced pacing yearling. More details will be forthcoming soon.
