Framed Art wins Harrington feature

Harrington, DE — Art and Andrew Stafford’s Framed Art ($9.20, Art Stafford Jr.) was a wire-to-wire winner in Monday’s (Aug. 24) featured $12,500 Open II in 1:50.4 at Harrington Raceway.
It was a new lifetime best for the 5-year-old Artiscape stallion, who recorded his 14th lifetime win. The win time was just one fifth of a second off the track record for older pacing stallions (Dancin Yankee).
Framed Art held off a charge from Special T Rocks, who was second, and third place finisher Mojo Terror.
Framed Art, trained by his driver, is a former New York Sire Stakes champion who has banked more than $420,000 lifetime.
Jim Morand, Victor Kirby and Jon Roberts each had a driving double.
