Columbus, OH — Frank W. Woodbury Sr., 77, died May 8, 2017, at the Barron Center in Portland, Maine.

He was born on Oct. 20, 1939, in Cumberland, the son of Earl and Nellie (Farnsworth) Woodbury.

Mr. Woodbury was a graduate of Greely Institute, class of 1957. After he graduated, he knew his passion in life and that was harness racing. He was an owner, trainer and driver. In later years, he worked part-time as a toll taker and also became a harness racing judge at Scarborough Downs.

He also enjoyed watching the Red Sox and the Celtics; had a love for all animals (he owned several different breeds of dogs over the years); as well as spending time outdoors.

Mr. Woodbury is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Winifred (Iovine); brother, Robert; sons, Frank W. Jr. and Jeffery; stepdaughter, Debra Belliveau; grandchildren, Ryan, Robin, Nicholas Belliveau, Jonathan Belliveau and Randi; and great-grandson, Owen.

A celebration of his life will be held Friday (May 12) from 12-1 p.m. at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St., Portland, with a service starting at 1 p.m.
