Fred Winstead, Jr., 49, dies

Columbus, OH —- Fred Winstead, Jr., 49, of Northfield, Ohio, formerly of Kettering, died Nov. 10, 2010 at Kettering Medical Center.

Mr. Winstead was a Standardbred trainer in the state of Ohio and a member of the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association.

He was a graduate of Fairmont East High School, Class of 1980.

Mr. Winstead is survived by his wife of 17 years, Donna Marie; mother, June; sons, Corey and Scott (Heather) Nagle; sisters, Kimberly (Tom Creekbaum) Copfer and Luretta (Dave) Hedger; nieces, Amber Copfer, Brandy Copfer, Kelli (Ed) Mohr, and Shelli (Eric) Tharps; and grandchildren, Nathen, Hannah, Makayla, and Jackson Nagle. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Sr.; sister, Vicki Jordan; and son, Phil Nagle, Jr.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, Nov. 13, at 4 p.m. at the Sanner Funeral Home, 800 So. Alex Rd., West Carrollton. Visitation will be two hours prior to services (2-4 p.m.).

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with medical expenses.
