Freehold, NJ – Freehold Raceway has announced a three-leg trotting series for amateur drivers, kicking off this Saturday (Nov. 30).

The first two legs will be held on Nov. 30 and Dec. 7, with a purse of $7,500 each. The final will be contested on Dec. 14, for a purse of $15,000. Horses must compete in at least one leg to be eligible for the final.

All horses who competed in an amateur race in 2019 are automatically eligible for this series. For all other horses, the conditions are non-winners of $6,000 in their last five starts, or optional claiming tag of $15,000.
