Freehold, NJ — Freehold Raceway cancelled live racing after four races on Friday, Jan. 23, due to track conditions.

The mild temperatures were to blame for the rapid thawing of the racetrack, causing unsafe conditions.

Simulcasting was to continue as scheduled for the remainder of the afternoon and evening.

Live racing resumes at Freehold Raceway on Saturday, Jan. 24, with a first race post of 12:30 p.m.
