Freehold, NJ — Freehold Raceway returns from its summer break and will begin the summer/fall meet on Friday (Aug. 26), with an 11-race card.

Beginning Friday, the Freehold simulcast feed will be broadcast in high definition (HD).

“We’re excited for the launch of Freehold Raceway’s signal in HD. With our new state-of the-art equipment, we feel our simulcast feed will be among the best in the industry,” said Howard Bruno, Freehold Raceway General Manager.

Live racing will be held every Friday and Saturday for the 38-day summer/fall meet through Dec. 31.

Gates open at 11 a.m. on Friday, with the first race scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Fans who purchase a Freehold live program will receive an opening day t-shirt, while supplies last.
