Freehold, NJ — Freehold Raceway will be hosting qualifiers on Friday (Aug. 21). Post time is 9:30 a.m.

Horsemen are encouraged to use the USTA Etrack online system to declare in. The box will close on Thursday (Aug. 20) at 10 a.m.

Live racing will resume on Friday (Aug. 28) with a post time of 12:30 p.m. The draw schedule will remain the same as last meet with the exception of qualifiers which will be drawn on Wednesday. The draw for Friday will be Tuesday by 9 a.m. Saturday’s draw will be held on Wednesday by 9 a.m.

The paddock will be restricted to trainers, grooms and racetrack personnel. No owners will be permitted. Locker room, food concessions and lounge areas will all be closed. Drivers will be directed as to where to park and remain in their vehicles between races. Face coverings and social distancing will be enforced. All horsemen will be responsible for collecting and returning their saddle pads and head numbers to their designated races. Horses shipping from out of state will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
