Freehold, NJ — Freehold Raceway’s spring stakes schedule gets underway Wednesday (March 26) with five divisions of the first leg of the Stewart Hanover Pace.

The second leg will be held next Wednesday (April 2) with the final set for Wednesday, April 9.

Highlighting the spring stakes schedule is the $160,000 (est.) Dexter Cup for 3-year-old open trotters and the $145,000 (est.) Helen Dancer for 3-year-old filly pacers. Both are scheduled for Saturday, May 10. Friday, May 9, is the $110,000 (est.) Lady Suffolk filly trot for 3-year-olds. These three stakes are the highlights of the Grand Circuit’s annual stop at Freehold.

Freehold presents live racing Wednesday-Saturday through June 14. Post time is 12:30 p.m.
