Freeze Frame was a 1:57.4 winner for Mike Simons.

The 4-year old S J’s Photo mare made the front easy and backed it down to the half-mile marker in 1:00. From there Simons said go and Freeze Frame responded with a back half in :57.4 with a final panel in :28.3.

Freeze Frame is owned by Trillium Racing Stable and Sherri Meirs, while Jim Raymer does the conditioning. It was the third win in 16 seasonal starts for the trotting mare who sports a career bankroll of more than $125,000.

Shark Dressed Man may have stamped himself the favorite for next week’s final of the Nichols True Value Pacing Series.

Corey Braden and Shark Dressed Man made the quarter-pole move and never looked back through fractions of :27, :55.4 and 1:23.3, before stopping the timer in 1:53.

Grampa Gus and Howard Parker sat in the pocket as the 7-5 betting favorite but could not get past the pacesetter. Jacked Up and Mike Simons rounded out the $67.50 Trifecta.

The sophomore son of Shark St Partners is owned by E C S Racing Llc and is trained by Merle LaFountaine.

Jimmy Marohn, Jr. and Josh Marks both posted driving doubles on the night’s 10-race card.

Tioga Downs continues live racing action on Sunday afternoon at 1:15 p.m.
