French trotting star Aubrion du Gers is back

The 8-year-old top French trotter Aubrion du Gers, driven by Jean Michel Bazire, returned to action after having been away from the races since October and extended his winning streak to seven on Friday afternoon (March 16) at the Caen track in Normandy.

Aubrion du Gers won a 1-3/8th mile event easily in 1:57.2 (mile rate).

Aubrion du Gers is regarded as one of the best trotters in France, but as a gelding he has been excluded from racing in the big Grand Prix races in the Winter meeting.

Back in September Aubrion du Gers took his biggest win in the UET Masters final at Vincennes, where Bold Eagle had to settle for second.
