Chester, PA — There were three divisions of Pennsylvania Sire Stakes races for 2-year-old filly pacers on Thursday afternoon (July 21) at Harrah’s Philadelphia, each going for a purse of just over $61,000.

In the first division, it was Dylan Davis trainee Gigi From Fiji (Corey Callahan) picking up the win. The daughter of Ponder-Odds On Arttoheart drafted patiently in the three-hole before launching her bid. She hooked up in a stretch duel with Somesleazetoplease (Brett Miller), and was able to get the nose in front, stopping the clock in 1:54. It was the second win of her career out of three starts. She is owned by Robert Cooper, J&T Silva Stables, and driver Corey Callahan. She paid $17.80 to win.

In the second division it was Bettor’s Up closing fast up the inside for the score. The daughter of Bettor’s Delight-Fresh Idea was shuffled back, but was able to find room late to out close the pocket sitting Idyllic Beach (Yannick Gingras) to win in a time of 1:53.3 for the connections of Bradley Grant and Michelle McEneny. Scott McEneny is the trainer. It was her third victory in four career starts, and one of five driving wins on the afternoon for David Miller. She paid $5.80 to win.

The third and final division was won by the pocket-sitting Agent Q (David Miller). The daughter of Western Terror-Teenage Paige got to the front, but yielded to the brushing Caviart Ally (Andrew McCarthy) past the quarter pole. She closed in a stout :27.4 to get the job done, winning by three lengths in 1:53.3. It was the first career win for the Aaron Lambert trainee, who is owned by the team of Martin Scharf, William Rochetti Jr., Tanya Rochetti and Robert Muscara. She paid $3.60 to win.
