Nichols, NY — Two divisions of 2-year-old colt and gelding trotters headline Friday night’s (July 26) card at Tioga Downs led by morning line favorites Crazzycrazzy (Jim Morrill, Jr.) and Flyhawk El Durado (Jim Morrill, Jr.).

The first division will go to the post in the evening’s fourth race for $54,181 led by the Casie Coleman trained Crazzycrazzy. The son of Crazed–Striking Vintage is coming off a debut win in the NYSS at Monticello with an easy 2-1/2 length victory in 1:59.1. Morrill also did the steering that day on Crazzycrazzy and will once again be at the controls.

In the second division for $55,181, Flyhawk El Durado will look for his third straight win on the season. The son of Conway Hall–El Paso Gal opened his career with a second and a win in NYSS competition for driver, trainer and co-owner Jimmy Whittemore before being sold privately to Martin Scharf. He now resides in the care of trainer Mark Ford.

In his first start for the new connections, Flyhawk El Durado captured the Tompkins-Geers at Tioga Downs in a new lifetime best of 1:57.3.

Flyhawk El Durado will start from post three in a field of nine in Friday night’s ninth race.

Tioga Downs will also offer five divisions of the New York Sire Stakes Excelsior series on Friday night’s 12-race program which begins with a post time of 6:50 p.m.
