Washington, PA — Twelve qualifying races for 2-year-olds, part of a 20-race morning qualifying session, will be held at The Meadows on Wednesday (June 8).

A total of 79 freshmen representing 29 different stables will take to the track beginning at 10:30 a.m. Included are 11 members of the Ron Burke Stable, one of the largest barns in the sport.

Seven of the qualifying events are for pacers, with five for trotters. All freshman events are scheduled to be either six- or seven-horse fields.

The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association will, as always, post video of all Meadows qualifiers on its website, www.themsoa.com. Video of Wednesday’s qualifiers will be posted by Thursday evening.
