Freehold, NJ — Gabbys Dream drew away to a 1-3/4 length victory over stablemate I Wanted Wings in the $85,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Final for 2-year-old trotting fillies on Tuesday, September 23, at Freehold Raceway.

Gabbys Dream trotted the mile in a lifetime best of 1:59 with Jim Pantaleano in the sulky. The daughter of Dream Vacation, out of the Self Possessed mare Exorcist, now has two wins, three seconds and one third from 10 starts for the Golden Goose Enterprises, the nom de course of her breeder, Gary S. Tolchin. Gabbys Dream ($10.20, $5.60, $3.40) has banked $75,665.

Finishing second was the Muscles Yankee filly I Wanted Wings ($3.00, $2.60). Both Gabbys Dream and I Wanted Wings are trained by Ross Croghan but raced uncoupled due to bonafide separate ownership.

Allamerican Phoebe ($3.60), also by Muscles Yankee, was third by 3-3/4 lengths.
