Galius seeks revenge from narrow defeat in Prix d’Amerique

For the first time since the photo finish in the Prix d’Amerique, the winner Davidson du Pont, with Nicolas Bazire, and the second, Galius, will meet again this Sunday (Feb. 27) in the marathon race, the Prix de Paris, at Vincennes at a distance of 4,150 meters or about 1-5/8th miles.

While Davidson du Pont raced and was unplaced in the Prix de France a fortnight ago, it is the first time since the Prix d’Amerique that Galius is back racing.

A field of 14 trotters were entered in the Prix de Paris which has a total purse of 400,000 Euro with 180,000 Euro to the winner.
