Meadowlands is best bet for Breeders’ Cup weekend

Meadowlands Racetrack has everything you need to get in on the action of Breeders’ Cup weekend on Nov. 5-6.

Day 1 of the simulcast from Churchill Downs kicks off at 2 p.m. on Friday. Terraces Restaurant will open at 4 p.m. for evening dining, making it the perfect spot to catch the Cup races and the Meadowlands live card, which begins at 7 p.m. Casual fare will also be available at The Pub and concession stands throughout the day and evening.

Meadowlands gates open 10 a.m. on Saturday for Day 2 of the championships. Join racing analysts Brad Thomas and Darin Zoccali for a free Breeders’ Cup handicapping seminar beginning at 11 a.m. at the Paddock Level. Post time for the Churchill card is 12:05 p.m. A special daytime buffet will be available at Pegasus, while Terraces will open at 4 p.m. Meadowlands harness racing begins at 7 p.m.
