German-bred Gio Cash, with trainer/driver Dion Tesselaar, was an easy winner of the Breeders Course final raced at Jägersro, Sweden, Wednesday night (Sept. 29).

Gio Cash, who raced for just the second time, was in command the whole trip and won by three-quarters of a length over another German trotter, Look of Love, with Wim Paal in the bike.

Gio Cash was timed in 1:57.3f and picked up the winner’s purse of $68,000.

Gio Cash is sired by Victor Gio (he by Ready Cash), who raced in the United States, trained by Jimmy Takter, and took a mark of 1:53.3.

Victor Gio now stands at stud in Italy.
