Keith Gisser offers his picks for the $10,000 Pick-4 at Northfield Park on June 1, part of the USTA Strategic Wagering program. Northfield Park Pick 4, Races 8-11, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 Last play: Last Wednesday, we got “weathered out” when the race card was canceled after two races.
Analysis:
Race 8: (7) Be Bop Beauty looks best, but post is an issue. Beware the Schillaci newcomer, (4) Rbs Luck, but (1) Scooter In Motion is the major threat.
Race 9: Love (9) Bad As Billy, although he may need a local start. (1) One Day Wonder may have to do more work than usual, but must be used, as must (5) Wyatt, who always gives effort.
Race 10: (2) Cruise On Osborne won his last two at this level. Best bet.
Race 11: Wide open, so we will go four deep.
