GLADA amateurs ready to take to the track

Hazel Park, MI — A full field of experienced drivers and eager trotters will fly away from the gate on Monday night (August 6) at Hazel Park in the fifth race, headed for victory and points as the season itself turns for home. Competition is fierce as the points add up and the race days dwindle.

The lucky one hole belongs to club president Steve Oldford driving June Du Russel trainee Ace Hanover. On out will be Smokin Steven with Mike Mitchell aboard, Merlincrest in rein to two-time winner Michael Caston, April Moonlight debuting with Maurice Goldschmidt aboard, and Striking Lightning driven by his trainer, Christina Kennedy.

Next out is Score Card with previous winner Junior Cole in the sulky, Y F Crasher driven by Zaim Cunmulaj, Jedrik Hanover in rein to Kelly Walker, and taking in the fresh Michigan air, Hay Look Out with Patricia Miller in the bike.

Sparks will fly as the gate folds and the rush for position jolts into gear. The heat is on for wins and points and the amateurs will light up the board as they have all summer at Hazel Park, the host for the GLADA series.
