Hazel Park, MI — The Michigan amateurs of GLADA will race on in the heat and the competition gets hotter as the weather steams up. The field of eight drivers is packed with five previous winners and each one of the eight is striving to make this Monday (July 2) their night.

Richard Roach driving Mylittlej has the lucky one hole again, Patricia Miller drives Hay Look Out, Steve Oldford steers Lockup Jazz, Michael Caston is in the sulky behind Merlincrest, next out is Christina Kennedy driving Striking Lightning, Junior Cole with Score Card, Kara Sue Buxton reining North Parcc and Michael Mitchell rounds out the field with frequent competitor Smokin’ Steven.

Racing excitement is the result and fierce competition is the cause. When the starter yells go, it will be an all out battle for position and the thrill of victory that awaits the successful horse and driver.
