Columbus, OH — The USTA has produced a free color brochure for members of the Standardbred industry to distribute to their local civic leaders to illustrate the importance of our industry to the economy.
The brochure, titled “Standardbreds: Good For Business,” explains the impact of harness racing on local economies. The brochure details the positive economic effect of Standardbreds, both on the racetrack and at farms, and the jobs and industries created and sustained by racing.
The brochure is designed for a participant in racing to hand to local civic officials, mayors and state legislators. It contains a space for the person making the contact to attach a label or write in their name and number to arrange a visit or learn more about a local Standardbred-related business.
The brochure is available for free to all horsemen, breeders, track operators and anyone in an industry related to harness racing who would like to reach out to their local leaders.
