Goshen Track Auxiliary donates $10,000 to National Historic Landmark

Monticello, NY — At a recent meeting of the Auxiliary of Goshen Historic Track at the Copper Bottom Restaurant in the village of Florida, N.Y., the Auxiliary made a $10,000 donation to the National Historic Landmark.

Accepting the $10,000 check from Auxiliary co-president Judy Green was Steve Jones, president of the track’s Board of Directors.

Historic Track’s Board of Directors, Steve Jones, George Casale and John Manzi, joined them for dinner that evening.

“We are always so very appreciative of the Auxiliary’s dedicated efforts and we can’t thank them enough,” Jones said.”The ladies do an outstanding job and work tirelessly to raise money for Historic Track.”

Money is raised annually through the efforts of members of the Historic Track Auxiliary with an array of fundraisers. Last year $9,000 was donated and in previous years they donated more. And over the past few decades the amount of the Auxiliary’s donations is well into six figures.
