Greenshoe’s book is full and closed

Hanover, PA — Hanover Shoe Farms is pleased to announce that the 2022 book for the trotting stallion Greenshoe (Father Patrick–Designed To Be by Donato Hanover) 3,1:49.4 ($1,353,772) is now full and closed.

Standing his third year in 2022, which is notoriously the hardest year to fill, the continued high demand for Greenshoe is no doubt fueled by the appearance of his first yearlings. Described by breeders as athletic, airy, intelligent and charismatic, many report their Greenshoe yearlings as the best foal the mare has had thus far.

The Greenshoe yearlings are sure to be the highlight of the 2022 yearling sales as these colts are just a small sampling of the blue bloods expected to sell this fall:

Holy Grail Hanover: Greenshoe colt, first foal out of 2017 Horse of the Year and world champion Hannelore Hanover 1:49.2 ($3,069,867)

Skydiver: Greenshoe colt, first colt out of triple Dan Patch winner and world champion Ariana G 1:50.2 ($2,465,459)

Unnamed: Greenshoe colt, first colt out of Dan Patch winning world champion Mission Brief 3,1:50.2f ($1,599,587)

Samwise The Brave: Greenshoe colt, first foal out of The Ice Dutchess 3,1:51.1 ($774,029)

Cardinal Hanover: Greenshoe colt out of Dan Patch winner Cedar Dove 1:52.3 ($1,178,930), brother to Dan Patch winner When Dovescry 1:50 ($1,632,172)

Greenshoe joins fellow Hanover stallions Bar Hopping, Captain Corey, Papi Rob Hanover and Tall Dark Stranger with full 2022 books.
