Gwen Gilmour, 75, dies

Columbus, OH — Gwen Gilmour (nee Harner), 75, wife of Hall of Fame driver William “Buddy” Gilmour, died Feb. 23, 2011, in Fort Erie, Ontario.

The couple had been married 57 years.

She is survived by her husband; children, Karen Murphy, Laurie Morningstar, Mark and Lisa; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Guy, Lloyd, Phyllis Sider, Helen Reinhardt, Joanne Renshaw and Barbara Knapp; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hall of Fame driver-trainer Levi and Arlene Harner; brother, Eldon Harner; brother-in-law, George; and a sister-in-law, Norma Robinson.

A funeral service was conducted on Monday (Feb. 28) in Ridgeway, Ontario.
