Pompano Beach, FL — Michael Hall has been named Presiding Judge at the isle casino & racing pompano park.

Michael Hall

Hall, currently the Presiding Judge at Harrah’s Chester, has 35 years of experience in the racing industry — the last 19 years as a judge.

His career in racing began “as a kid in Maine” as a caretaker and owner while in high school.

After graduation from Ohio State University — his major was agriculture — he was second trainer for a number of horsemen before opening his own stable.

He became a judge in 1990 and has served as Presiding Judge at several tracks, including Northfield Park, Raceway Park, The Meadows and Pocono Downs, as well as the aforementioned Harrah’s Chester.

Commenting on his new position with the isle pompano park, Hall said, “Pompano has always enjoyed a reputation for having excellent horsemen and racing. I am looking forward to upholding their standards insuring the success and integrity of the sport.”

Hall will assume his post at the end of the current Harrah’s Chester race meeting.
