Hall of Fame announces 2010 stallion breeding roster

from the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame

Goshen, NY — The Harness Racing Museum is pleased to announce an exceptional roster of stallions for the 2010 breeding auction.

Topping this year’s list is 2007 Harness Horse of the Year Donato Hanover, along with Hall of Fame inductees Camluck (2008) and Cam’s Card Shark (2007), as well as six exceptional stallions entering the breeding shed for the first time.

Premiering their breeding careers in Ontario are two-time world champion and Breeders Crown winner Artistic Fella and the Ontario Sires Stakes Super Final winner Windsong Espoir. Other available breedings in Ontario are that province’s leading money-winning pacing sire Camluck, Little Brown Jug winner Million Dollar Cam, Artsplace’s fastest son Stonebridge Regal and American-National winner Striking Sahbra.

The 2-year-old world champion Lear Jetta and multiple stakes winner Xactly Hanover will start their breeding careers in Pennsylvania. Along with these newcomers the Keystone state offers Horse of the Year Donato Hanover, the great sire American Winner, Meadowlands Pace and North America Cup winner The Panderosa, Pacing Colt of the Year Village Jolt, half-mile track world champion Garth Vader, the royally bred Malabar Millennium, world champion Nuclear Breeze, and Supergill son Super Vintage.

New York offers first season stallions NYSS winner Big Apple Deli, Conway Court, a half brother to leading trotting sire Credit Winner, and Spiked Cider by leading sire Yankee Glide. Also standing in the Empire State is the world champion on a half-mile track Cash Hall, NJSS winner Diamond Goal, OSS winner Ilooklikemymom, Lislea, sire of Lislea Phia 4,1:50.2f ($542,450), Adios winner Riverboat King, NYSS winner RC Royalty, Breeders Crown winner Totally Western, fastest son of Cam Fella as a 2- and 3-year-old Village Jove, and NYSS winner Whelan Willie.

New Jersey is home to 1994 Horse of the Year Cam’s Card Shark. The state of Delaware offers warhorse Cams Fortune, Cane Pace winner Powerful Toy, and Confederation Cup winner Rustler Hanover. Maryland offers the steady campaigner Cam’s Rocket and Maine is represented by stakes winner Roadshow Hall. World champion Ponder and Valley Victory son Valley Victor are at home in Kentucky. Coventry, an Old Oaken Bucket winner, represents the state of Michigan. At home again in Indiana are Cane and Messenger winner Always A Virgin and Colonial Trot winner Holy Guacamolie while Illinois is represented by Metro winner Yankee Skyscaper.

Income raised by the auction, over $352,000 since 1999, supports the Museum’s General Operating Fund. It helps to ensure quality services, special exhibitions, traveling exhibits, promotional support and educational programming for children and adults. Our efforts also help to encourage new owners and fans!
