Goshen, NY — The first leg of the 2018 Hall of Fame & Museum Amateur Series will be held at The Red Mile on Friday (Oct. 6).

There are two divisions, each with a purse of $4,000. Funds raised in these races will be donated to the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, Goshen, N.Y. and to the Round Barn at Red Mile.

The 2017 series culminated with the series final at Delaware, Ohio, on Jug Day, which was won by Ned Hodkinson driving Mutinyonthebounty by a neck over Gregg Keidel and Tinder while Peter Gerry with Kween Mightus was third.

The series has been a resounding success, raising more than $5,000 for the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame. Special thanks are in order for the amateur drivers who participated in the inaugural Hall of Fame Amateur series for their contributions of driving commissions and starting fees to the Museum. For more information about this series, contact Steve Oldford or Janet Terhune.
