from the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame

Goshen, NY — The generosity and support of the harness racing community has helped raise much needed funds for the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame and the Standardbred Retirement Foundation at the Hambletonian Party and Poker & Casino Night Charity held Friday (Aug. 4) at Victory Sports Bar, Meadowlands Racetrack, in East Rutherford, N.J.

Supported by The Hambletonian Society and Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment, the evening included great table games, a poker tournament and terrific raffle prizes.

A very hearty thanks to our major sponsors Marion Marauder Ownership (Wellwoods and Keelings), Arden Homestead Stable, Joe Bellino and Burke Racing Stable. We also thank Roberts Communications Network and Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment for providing the grand prize for the poker tournament, a 3-night/4-day trip for two to Las Vegas including airfare, first class hotel accommodation, show tickets and a generous food/beverage allowance.

Some of the sought after raffle items included tickets to Mets-Dodgers and Mets-Phillies games, signed Yankees memorabilia, Bradford Portrait packages, harness racing prints donated by Leon Zimmerman, autographed John Campbell prints donated by Ray Lance, Metakoo drone, wine, liquor and much more.
