HANA Harness Handicapping Challenge announces new Gold sponsor

from HANA Harness

The Horseplayers Association of North America’s harness racing division is pleased to announce the addition of the Illinois Harness Horsemen’s Association as a Gold Sponsor of HANA Harness’ 2013 Grand Circuit Handicapping Challenge.

The Challenge will now be sponsored by the Hambletonian Society, Chicago Harness, IHHA, Meadowlands Racetrack, Tioga Downs and Vernon Downs.

The contest kicks off this Friday (April 26) with the Courageous Lady at Northfield Park and is followed by the finals of the Blue Chip Matchmaker and George Morton Levy Memorial series at Yonkers Raceway on Saturday night (April 27).

The handicappers’ selections will be available on the contest website (hanaharnesscontest.blogspot.com) no later than the morning of race day.

Ray Garnett was inadvertently left off the handicapper roster last week. Ray will be competing for Lollypop Farm. Ray is a veteran handicapper, handicapping both Standardbreds and Thoroughbreds. Ray has participated in numerous online and track handicapping contests including winning one such at contest at Sam Houston Park.

Sponsorships opportunities remain available. Racetracks, horsemen’s associations, and breeding farms are invited to consider becoming a silver or bronze sponsor of the handicapping challenge. For further information about these opportunities, contact Allan@hanaweb.org. All sponsorship fees are paid directly to Standardbred horse rescues which are 501(c)(3) non-profits.
