Dover, DE — For the fourth time this meet, Handsoffmycookie notched a victory in the top distaff pace of the week as Trace Tetrick came from last to overtake leader Tim Tetrick and favorite For The Ladies N for a 1:52.3 triumph in the $18,000 Mares Open pace on Monday, Dec. 29 at Dover Downs.

For The Ladies N left from post seven to take the early lead and led until just past the turn down the homestretch when a quartet of rivals stormed to challenge. Trace Tetrick was last to be seen until the final strides when Handsoffmycookie rushed past her foes for victory number eight of the year, moving her seasonal earnings to $108,570 for JFE Enterprise. The Art Major-Observe Me 5-year-old former New York Sire Stakes standout trained by Scott DiDomenico registered her 30th career win, good for $1,337,242 lifetime earnings. Mach A Wish closed strongly for Corey Callahan for second while Fill My Pockets Up and Eddie Davis Jr. took third money.

Following Tuesday’s 15-race program, Wednesday, New Year’s Eve, will be an off day, with racing resuming on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015.
