Hannah Miller continues her strong season

East Rutherford, NJ — The fifth week of the fall GSY Series took place on Friday night (Dec. 9) under brisk winter weather.

The first race at the Big M sent 10 trotters to post with an unusual start of four breakers right after the gate opened. After a battle for the lead to the first quarter-mile, Bob “Front End” Hechkoff, aboard Count Speed, took command and maintained the lead until the half-mile. That is when Dave “Legs” Glasser, driving Feisty Love, made a big move to the front and held the lead until the top of the stretch.

That is when “Hot Hands’ Hannah Miller, sitting behind Dream Rocker took control and won by a convincing 3-1/2 lengths in a race timed in 1:57.3

Glasser held on for second and David “GSY” Yarock got up for the show dough at long odds aboard Landonfitz.

Miller paid a generous $9.60 to win at the betting windows and continues her record-breaking season with another victory.

This 5-year-old horse is by Hard Rock N Roll and is owned and trained by Mark Ford.

Next week (Dec. 16) will continue with the last leg before the finals of the winter GSY Series at the Big M.
