FREEHOLD, NJ – – Joseph Muscara’s Happy Together N benefited from a patient drive by Ron Pierce and rallied to win the featured $19,000 Invitational handicap for pacers at Freehold Raceway on Saturday.

Happy Together N, a seven-year-old Armbro Operative gelding, finished a half-length in front of is nearest rival a final time of 1:53.4. Daylon Trooper (David Miller), the 5-2 betting favorite and pacesetter, held well for second and it was another one and one-half lengths back to Franco Sequel N (Stephane Bouchard), who nailed down the show spot.

The victory gave Happy Together N his third win of the year in four starts. Overlooked in the wagering at nearly 8-1, the trainee of Syl Decample rewarded his supporters with a win mutuel of $17.60.
