Harness Horse Breeders of NYS unveils new Web site

from the Harness Horse Breeders of New York State

Latham, NY — The Harness Horse Breeders of New York State is pleased to announce the development of their “new” www.HHBNYS.com Web site.

Features of the new site include race replays of last year’s NYSS Night of Champions, Zweig Memorial Trot, NYSS Late Closer finals and NYSS County Fair finals and will be updated, accordingly, with each stakes event this coming season.

The Menu tabs consist of ‘News,’ which is comprised of ‘Breeding news,’ ‘Racing news,’ ‘Health Bulletin,’ ‘New York Sire Stakes’ and ‘Racing and the Law.’

Other homepage menu tab items are ‘Calendar,’ outlining the 2008 New York Sire Stakes events coupled with links to racetracks, special events and horse auctions; ‘Stallions,’ which lists this year’s New York-based registered stallions along with pedigree pages and photos, where applicable; ‘Farms’ and training facilities, ‘Stats,’ ‘On-line forms,’ ‘Zweig,’ which lists eligibility, conditions and nomination forms, a unique interactive ‘FAQ,’ industry ‘Links,’ Sire Stakes, which lists composite photos from 2007 NYSS finals and links to race replays, ‘Contact Us,’ and Email Newsletter signup section.

HHBNYS President David C. Hanson is pleased with the “lively” look of the new Web site.

“The new Web site promises to be informative, user friendly and enjoyable,” Hanson said. “With cooperation from within New York’s breeding industry and New York State’s seven harness track publicity departments we plan to make the site a daily “go-to” regimen for the entire industry’s internet users.”
