Harness Horse Youth Foundation seeks stable trainers for 2012

by Keith Gisser, for the Harness Horse Youth Foundation

Westfield, IN — The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is seeking qualified trainers to condition its stable of Trottingbreds in preparation for the organization’s 2012 summer program schedule.

Volunteer trainers would be expected to jog or exercise the horse on a daily basis to build stamina; no actual training miles would be required. Trainer would be responsible for all care, feed, hay, bedding, and shoeing. Upon request, gifts-in-kind receipts for services would be issued. Horses would be delivered on or about March 15 and picked up in late June. Each horse comes with its own harness (and hopples if needed).
