Harness Racing Museum is going to the Jug

from the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame

Goshen, NY — For the past 15 years, The Harness Racing Museum has had a presence at The Little Brown Jug and this year is no exception!

Its home in Delaware since 1995 has been a large striped tent at the top of the stretch. There, from Sunday, September 19, through Jug Day, September 23, you will find staff looking forward to greeting Museum members and friends who come to visit and catch up on the Museum’s activities.

Joanne Young, the Museum’s development director, will be taking orders for Walk of Fame pavers and bricks. The path to the Museum’s entrance is paved with messages of gratitude and love. They make wonderful holiday gifts for family members, friends, employees, bosses, colleagues, as well as favorite horses and pets. For more information click here.

Loads of merchandise, both new and old favorites, will be available and stocking up for the holidays (no pun intended) will be an enjoyable task. As a service to horsemen and horsewomen a limited supply of tack from Big Dee’s will also be on hand.

The gift shop is an important fundraising arm of the Institution. Income derived from sales helps to support the important Museum’s work of encouraging interest in harness racing as well as providing the means to care for and chronicle the sport’s great times.

Customers can save on shipping by placing advance orders for delivery at the Jug by calling the Museum’s gift shop at 845.294.6330 or purchasing online (please note “for pick up at LBJ” in the comments section).

The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame is located at 240 Main Street in Goshen, New York and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last tour 4 p.m.) Thanks to USTA support the Museum is currently offering free admission for walk-in visitors and $4.00/person for group docent-guided tours. For information on the Museum, special events, gift shop services and educational programs the Museum offers, please call 845.294.6330 or visit www.harnessmuseum.com.
