Columbus, OH — Harrah’s Chester will join the U.S. Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering program this week, setting up a June schedule that will provide a guaranteed Pick-4 opportunity each day of the month.

Chester’s $5,000 guaranteed Pick-4 begins Wednesday, May 25, and will be offered on all daytime cards, four days a week, on races seven through 10. With the exceptions of evening cards on Friday, May 27, and Saturday, June 11, Chester races afternoons Wednesdays through Fridays and Sundays. Post time is 12:40 p.m. for the first race, with the first leg of the Pick-4 scheduled for approximately 2:40. There also will be a special Monday afternoon card on May 30.

“We’re very excited about the addition of Chester to the schedule and very happy with the results of the program,” said Mike Tanner, the executive vice president and CEO of the USTA. “The response from the industry, as well as the players, has been terrific. Being able to have a guarantee for every day in June is an indication of that support.”

Chester joins USTA Strategic Wagering tracks Balmoral Park, Cal Expo Raceway, Harrington Raceway, Hoosier Park, Maywood Park, Meadowlands, The Meadows, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, Northfield Park and Yonkers Raceway.
