Chester, PA — Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack has announced its 2016 live racing schedule, with the 150-program season slated to begin on April 1.

The Opening Day Friday card carries a first post of 12:40 p.m., which will remain the standard starting time throughout the season. The standard race week will follow a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday schedule.

The 2016 season will conclude on Sunday (Dec. 18).

As in years past, Harrah’s Philadelphia will race special Saturday cards (post time 12:40 p.m.) on all three Triple Crown Days. Likewise, there will be three Monday programs (post time 12:40 p.m.) scheduled for Memorial Day (May 30), July 4, and Labor Day (Sept. 5).
