Harrington, DE — Harrington Raceway’s 70th season of live harness racing resumes Monday night (Aug. 15) after a brief hiatus with a 12-race program.

The feature race is the sixth, a $15,000 Open Handicap with a five-pack of pacers going to post in the payoff leg of the Pick-4 (races three through six).

John Cancelliere’s Special T Rocks (3-1, Jim Morand) will bid for his third straight win after two straight dazzling miles at Ocean Downs. Art and Andrew Stafford’s Framed Art (2-1, Art Stafford Jr.) comes off a win during the Delaware State Fair. Newcomer Arque Hanover (8-5, Jon Roberts), owned by Howard Taylor, Robert Cooper Stables, Abraham Basen and Thomas Lazzaro, will invade the Delaware half-mile racetrack for the first time for recently new trainer Dylan Davis. Feel Like A Fool (8-1, Pat Berry) and Bob Stevenson’s Singing Saint (5-1, Tony Morgan) will round out the field.

In the seventh race, the first leg of the 50-cent Pick-5, Ben Stafford’s Machine Team (2-1, Bret Brittingham) will also vie for a third straight win in a conditioned event.

Live racing will be conducted on a Monday through Wednesday schedule for the balance of August, before shifting to Monday through Thursday from Sept. 5 until Oct. 20. Post time nightly is 5 p.m.
