Stickney, IL — Racing Secretary Robin Schadt would like to remind all horsemen that stall applications for the 2017 Summer harness meet at Hawthorne Race Course are due by April 1.

Hawthorne management asks that all trainers, regardless of whether they will be shipping in or stabling on-site, to please submit the required stall application.

Racing will kick off on Thursday (May 11) and will be conducted four nights a week on a Thursday-Sunday schedule through Sunday (Sept. 24).

Nominations for all of the late closing series events must be postmarked by April 1 as well. More information and nomination forms can be found at www.hawthorneracecourse.com.

The deadline for this year’s ICF 2-year-old stakes program ($1,250) is April 15.

Nominations for the Cicero Claiming Series must be postmarked no later than April 24.
