Heat forces cancellation of Plainridge card

by Jack Ginnetti

Marlborough, MA — Extreme heat that sent temperatures into the 90s on Thursday forced the cancellation of Plainridge’s racing card (7/18).

The track was open at its regular time and offered an array of simulcast wagering.

Live harness racing at the Plainridge returns on Monday, July 21 with its usual call to post at 4 p.m. (ET).

The track’s schedule switches to Monday, Tuesday and Saturdays during August.
