from the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame
Goshen, NY — Hall of Famer Harry Harvey recently donated this small sterling silver medallion to the Museum’s historic collections.
At 14/16th of an inch it is about the size of a nickel. It is well worn yet the horse head design and wording “Historic Track” (Goshen, N.Y.) are still clearly legible. There is a slight roughness to the top edge, suggesting that it may once have had an attached ring to allow the medallion to hang from a ribbon.
