Help the Museum by recycling

from Harness Racing Communications, a division of the USTA

Freehold, NJ — Visitors to Goshen, N.Y., for the upcoming Hall of Fame inductions at the Harness Racing Museum on July 6 and Grand Circuit races at the adjacent Historic Track on July 2 through 6 can help the Museum gift shop and clear out some clutter at the same time.

Donations are happily accepted of bubble wrap, packing “peanuts” and small cardboard boxes suitable for one or two books. The Museum gift shop uses about 80 percent recycled materials for shipping, buying only tape and an occasional odd size box. Aside from extending the use of existing materials, the recycled packing items help to maximize profit and support the Museum’s mission to preserve and promote the sport.

The Museum, at 240 Main Street in Goshen, is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day. Items can be dropped off in the gift shop at the museum entrance.
